A Nigerian activist is fighting for the right to education for all in northeast Nigeria, a region deeply affected by the Islamist group Boko Haram, whose name refers to its rejection of "Western education". Two years ago, 20-year-old Wadi Ben-Hirki created a small NGO, the Wadi Ben-Hirki foundation, to try carry out various projects including scholarships, textbook donations and awareness campaigns.
