Chris Rock has officially banned cell phone use at his comedy shows.
Other celebrities who have done the same are Jack White, Dave Chappelle, and Alicia Keys.
An audience member named Chris Penman was at Rock’s show in Scotland. He looked at his phone to see how his father’s heart surgery went.
He was ushered out of the theater.
According to Uproxx.com, “phones are locked in the pouch when they arrive, they can be unlocked by security in the designated areas when they leave.”
Fans have mixed feelings about Rock’s decision.
