This is a how to trek Alta Via 2 in the Italian Dolomite’s (the southern half) video, Part 2 of 2. In this video I past glacier Marmolada and into the Valley of Roses. Then begins a long day of ascent to regain lost altitude, while being hounded by rain. But rain at lower altitudes equals snow at higher altitudes. By evening I am trapped by a hail storm while descending from Passo di Cirelle. What to do?
