Transmission Club are a Cork based lo-fi indie rock band founded by Michael Prendiville. Musically there are elements of alt. country and folk.

The band includes Michael Prendiville (vocals, guitar) Robert O Sullivan (bass), Arthur Pawsey (synth, vocals), Aine Palmer (violin, concertina) and with Ian Murphy (drums).

There is a wide variety of influences which include the works of Sparklehorse, Ryan Adams, Bright Eyes, Arcade Fire and Wilco. Sonically, there are influences from alt country and folk but there is often experiments with drum machines, keyboards and other instruments.
The band are currently working on their first release.
