Eric Shoves Them In His Pockets is a Warsaw, Poland based trio composed of Szymon Najder, Christoph Thun and Hubert Woźniakowski. These two cousins and their best friend draw on the aesthetics of independent rock music from the North-Western coast of the USA. Their debut album Walk It Off was dubbed by critics as a tribute to the guitar music of the turn of the centuries. However, the artists interpret it in their own way, use it like a filter through which they observe the reality which gives rise to their music.
In Poland they had the pleasure of playing both major alternative music festivals (OFF Festival, Open'er Festival), rocked a barge on the Vistula river during the "LADO w mieście” Festival, presented their songs on the Drama Theatre's main stage as part of the European Music Fair, had the opportunity of visiting many other less distinguished places, and toured the country several times. In May 2013 they went on a tour of fifteen German cities and have since been back to Germany many times, playing at festivals (Jenseits von Millionen, Drüben auf dem Hügel), house parties and clubs. Apart from live shows they enjoy playing music to silent films, and spending their free time writing new songs for their upcoming second album.

Muzyka nawiązuje do tradycji niezależnej muzyki rockowej z przełomu dekad 90/00 z zachodnio-północnego wybrzeża USA. Z inspiracji zespół stworzył pewną doktrynę postrzegania rzeczywistości, pewien filtr, którego efektem jest muzyka inna niż ich idoli, ponieważ żywiona innymi realiami.
Album „Walk It Off” jest więc próbą zarejestrowania momentu, w którym teraz znajduje się grupa. Próbą postawienia granicy i zdecydowanego kroku w przód, po to by grać już nie tylko dla znajomych, ale by móc dzielić się swoją muzyką z szerszą publicznością. Jest to płyta która zrzuca z członków zespołu ciężar niedokończonych kompozycji i próby ich zrozumienia.
