Wooldozer are five friends from five different bends of the country who met one sunny day in Bucharest with one goal - to pay reverence to music. Wooldozer caught fire as an idea between fellow musicians to play for the love of riffs, for friends, for fun, for a beer and free time spent in the right spiritual way.
Because they’ve been passionate for a long time about this subgenre of rock, weird and heavy, soaked with alcohol and smoked to the obscure, with deep roots in blues and 70s hard rock, full of fuzz and later dubbed Stoner Rock, they decided to congeal instrumental jams that carried them farther than they had hoped, making Wooldozer a band that is dedicated now to convey to those around us, what happens when you actually touch that bond that binds us all inside: that organic, 100% analog and universal feeling of music and rhythm.
Those jams materialized in April 2014 in their first musical effort, released as a 4 song EP, titled "First Dig (the demos)."
2015 was the year when they discovered by surprise The Voice that they had been looking for to complete Wooldozer's sound.
" We added the „vocal-„ prefix to our „sentimental-instrumental” entitling and we’ve closed the rehearsal room’s door after us. Not only that we will emerge more stronger and more louder, but hopefully we’ll get out holding a solid, dangerous and sexy album, as a sharp knife in the hands of a horny Venusian queen. Because the sound is meant to travel, we will do our duty to play loud enough and heavy enough to take you anywhere you need to be, passengers along side us on our sonic journey."
