Oscillant entre le rock argentin, le groove nocturne et la pop spatiale, Cosmic Fields ne propose pas un style défini. Sur cette prairie à l'étendue blafarde, trois personnages venus d'ailleurs explorent des horizons lointains, familiers d'apparence mais pourtant personnels. A travers des mélodies lunaires mais reconnaissables, ce n'est pas tant la nostalgie d'une époque révolue qu'ils cherchent à transmettre, mais plutôt la satisfaction de celle bien réelle d'aujourd'hui, la scène contemporaine à travers le monde, représentative du temps qui passe doucement, des journées ensoleillées qui défilent tranquillement les unes après les autres, voilà à quoi la musique peut faire penser.
Avec l'expérience, entre autres, de scènes telles que l'Usine à Genève, le Romandie à Lausanne, la scène Rock this Town, la Case à Chocs de Neuchâtel et des ouvertures pour The Oscillation, Charles Howl, Roy & The Devil's Motorcycle Club, The Pussywarmers et Gap Dream, le groupe sortira en septembre prochain son premier album avec Le Pop Club Records et Echo Orange !
Currently blending Argentinian rock, nocturnal groove and space pop, Cosmic Fields are always looking for something new and try not to have a precise genre. Three outlanders explore distant horizons, embracing the psychedelic sounds of their ancesters and merging them with those of today, in order to create melodies that everyone can relate to, the melancholy behind their music being not so much a reminiscence of times they have not known, but a satisfaction towards present days and the actual scene, looking forward and not backwards, and enjoying the time that passes quietly day after day.
For more than two years now, they have been playing around Geneva, in venues like l'Usine, l'Ecurie for "Rock This Town", le Romandie in Lausanne, la Case à Chocs in Neuchâtel, and have opened for bands such as Roy & The Devil's Motorcycle Club, Gap Dream, The Oscillation, Charles Howl and the Pussywarmers. Their first album is out now with Le Pop Club Records & Echo Orange !
