Principalement chanteur-compositeur et guitariste, il écrit parfois aussi des bandes originales. On a souvent dit que ses chansons sont inspirées des tendances folk, blues et jazz ; de plus, on a comparé ses interprétations à celles d’artistes tels que Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Django Reinhardt, J J Cale, Georges Brassens...
George Leitenberger a grandi en Allemagne et a longtemps vécu à Berlin, en Allemagne du Sud, en France et à Londres. Il habite et travaille à Genève depuis 2003. Après une pause de quatre ans, due à un accident de vélo suivi de complications, George revient présenter son NOUVEL ALBUM AUTOVÍA en 2016. Pour cette vidéo, une collaboration spéciale avec un être chaleureux et talentueux, Roddy McKinnon.

After growing up in South Germany, George lived many years in Berlin, France and London; he is currently living in Geneva, Switzerland. After a four year break due to a cycling accident followed by nasty complications, George Leitenberger is now back in form and ready to present a NEW ALBUM in 2016. On this track a special featuring with the excellent Roddy McKinnon!
