Some people get a headache from howling winds while in others it can awaken the longing for the wide world and unknown adventures. We certainly belong to the latter. We are an Indie-Folk band with roots at the windy Rhine Valley near St. Gallen in Eastern Switzerland. Being influenced by various styles, we take our own stories, along with the stories of others and convert them into melodious boot-stomping Indie-Folk songs. The band was initiated by René Greenfield and formed in early 2015. It consists of singer-songwriter René Greenfield (leadguitar, leadvocals), Yves Störi (piano, harp, guitar, vocals), Kevin Akermann (drums and percussion) and Jo Gruber (bass, e-guitar, vocals).
After the release of our first EP 'Coffee or Tea' in March 2016, we began working on our sound and new song material. In Februray 2017, released our second EP 'Sing Songs and Carry on, Boy!' in a digital format. Drawing from Folk, Indie, Pop and Country the songs are characterised by authentic English lyrics, catchy melodies, boot-stomping rhythms and a distinctive voice changing variation between gentle and rough sounds - a feature that reveals René's musical background. He played in a punk band for more than ten years before swapping his e-guitar for an acoustic one and shouting lyrics for softer melodies.
