California Wildfires Force 200,000 People To Evacuate, Create An "Extreme Fire Danger"

As of Thursday, approximately 200,000 people have been forced to flee from Southern Californian wildfires that have scorched over 116,100 acres and destroyer more than 150 homes, while intensifying winds have prompted an unprecedented warning level of purple. The Santa Ana winds could potentially reach hurricane-force speeds of 75 mph on Thursday, creating an “extreme fire danger,” according to an alert sent by the countywide emergency system in Los Angeles.
