The Phoenix Lights (sometimes referred to as "Phoenix lights") were a series of widely-seen optical phenomena (usually unidentified flying objects) that occurred in the skies of the states of Arizona and Nevada in the United States and in the Mexican state of Sonora, on March 13, 1997. A repeat of the phenomenon occurred on February 6, 2007 and was filmed by the local Fox News station
