South Korea says it will not develop nuclear weapons

South Korea's President Moon Jae-in said the country will not be developing nuclear weapons. Moon Jae-in said at the National Assembly North Korea's recent nuclear tests led to growing concerns whether Seoul should develop or possess nuclear weapons. South Korea once desired nuclear weapons in the 1970s but abandoned the idea after U.S. persuasion to do so.
