RAW: Havana flooded as Irma lashes Cuba

Hurricane Irma swept across the Cuban capital causing widespread flooding. Havana’s landmark seawall and surrounding streets were all submerged under water as Irma continued to pound the city for more than 12 hours. The 8-km (5-mile) stretch was hit with waves up to 8 meters (26 feet) high. Last-minute evacuations of up to 10,000 residents were organized in central Havana.
