North Korea Threatens 'Hail Of Fire' After Trump 'Lit The Wick Of War'

North Korea issued another threat on Wednesday, weeks after President Trump's United Nations address.

North Korea is claiming that President Trump has “lit the wick of war."
According to Reuters, the regime’s Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho made the comment to the Russian news agency TASS on Wednesday, saying, "With his bellicose and insane statement at the United Nations, Trump, you can say, has lit the wick of a war against us."
Ri was likely referring to a section in the U.S. president’s speech from last month where he told the assembly, “The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea.  Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime.”
The North Korean foreign minister continued to tell TASS, “Now it is the United States’ turn to pay, and all of our military servicemen and our entire people insistently demand that final scores be settled with the Americans only with a hail of fire, and not with words.”
However, he also indicated that a dialogue may be possible if the U.S. decides to “abandon its hostile policy and give up a nuclear threat against the DPRK with all their sources and roots.”
Despite criticisms over Trump's United Nations remarks, the president appears to be standing his ground.
“Our country has been unsuccessfully dealing with North Korea for 25 years, giving billions of dollars & getting nothing. Policy didn't work," Trump tweeted Monday.
