Galactic Legion Episode 4: Qui Gon Jinn's Grave Miscalculation on the Chosen One
One thing we always wondered is why there was such an emphasis in Star Wars:The Phantom Menace on a prophecy to bring balance to the force for the appeal of training in Episode one. Qui-gon was absolutely obsessed with it. We create a scene that should have been included in the movie, where a Ki Adi Mundi (Conehead) and Yoda voice opposition to Qui-gon's reasoning.
Detailed Description:
Qui-gon Jinn meets with Yoda and Ki Adi Mundi, a.k.a. Conehead, at the Jedi Council chamber to plead with them to allow for Anakin’s training. Qui-gon focuses on the prophesy to bring balance back to the force. Yoda and Ki Adi Mundi are disturbed by Qui-gon’s argument, and his lack of understanding of what balance is. Qui-gon Jinn learns a little late the consequences of his argument.
