Why is it so often forbidden to take pictures of exhibitions, museums, monuments ? Will it be, one day or another, forbidden to simply "look at" the works of art ?Jean-Philippe Lemée, artist and Art History teacher at School Year Abroad France, has decided to fight against what he calls "the exagerated scandal of Copyrights". In this video, he announces the creation of a non profit association in order to help and advise any visitor who would be willing to take pictures of artistic events whenever it is prohibited. The artist Yves Trémorin is behind the camera.
Pourquoi est-il si souvent interdit de photographier les expositions, les musées, les monuments. Au rythme où vont les choses, un de ces jours, il sera interdit de regarder les oeuvres d'art. Jean-Philippe Lemée, artiste et professeur d'Histoire de l'Art à School Year Abroad France, a décidé de combattre ce qu'il appelle "le scandale exagéré du Copyright". Dans cette vidéo, il annonce la création d'une association à but non lucratif dont la mission est d'aider et de conseiller chaque visiteur désireux de prendre des photographies interdites des événements artistiques.
