'Game of Throne's' creators' new series sparks backlash

HBO just announced Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss' new series Confederate. The show will explore an alternative future where the Southern states actually seceded from the Union, and slavery was never abolished. The series will feature freedom fighters, abolitionists, slaves, and slave owners. With a sensitive premise, it isn't surprising HBO is taking a lot of heat for the new project.
