Google, Facebook and Amazon stage 'day of action' protest in favour of net neutrality

Major companies Amazon, Google, Facebook and hundreds more staged an online protest called, 'Day of Action' in opposition to the Federal Communication Commission's (FCC) rollback of Obama-era regulations that enforced net neutrality. Net neutrality, often call the first amendment of the internet, is the principle that Internet service providers (ISPs) treat all web traffic equally and fairly. The companies protesting fear without these regulations ISPs will block access to or slow down internet speed on certain websites.
