Republican congressmen Clay Higgins under fire for filming Auschwitz selfie video

Louisiana Congressman Clay Higgins came under fire on 5 July for a video he shared from Auschwitz-Birkenau, the Nazi concentration camp in Oswiecim, Poland, where he discussed the Holocaust and America's military. Toward the end of the video, he stated that his visit to the concentration camp left him with a need to "make damn sure that America is protected from the evils of the world."
