Waterspout Touches Down in Lake Okeechobee, Florida

A waterspout touched down over Lake Okeechobee, Florida, on June 27.Edward Culpepper was out filming the waterspout over Lake Okeechobee in Martin County with his 12-year-old. The two can be heard gasping over the sight of the large waterspout.A Significant Weather Advisory was announced late Tuesday evening for parts of St. Lucie, Martin counties, according to a report by TC Palm.Two waterspouts with 40 mph winds were reported over Lake Okeechobee, as well as torrential rainfall and heaving flooding.
