Burmese democratic forces at the Social Forum

As over 60,000 delegates from Asia and Africa congregated at the Indian Social Forum, the World Social Forum-Indian chapter, Burma too is making an appearance, albeit small, amidst diverse but issues hat governments and mainstream civil organisations have neglected.

Highlighting human rights, workers rights and issues of women, environment, trade, science and technology among others, the ISF hold at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, is a free space where the voiceless sectors of civil society are making public and attacking the governments in order to be heard.
