But still, I'm confused with some things in this movie: why grandma commits suicide by jumping into a well, what or who the devil resembles her mother (and why she is at home anyway if in the end, the soldiers of the dead are the ones who do all the last work?), what does the zombie want from the family (I mean, they already have a little devil that spawns a bad boy with them, but why, they can still strike the rest from the family? Not a zombie destination that can be achieved by having a child the last of Satanic slave girls on their side?), how his grandmother's friend (who wrote the mystery magazine and helped her other family escape from the zombie, sorry for having forgotten her name) escaped from the attempted murder by Satanic devotees and others, This confusion I have answered in the movie immediately before I leave the theater, I definitely have given this film 8 straight from 10 instead of 7. The film begins as a "distillation" or "i nsidious" then ends as a merge between "omen" and "walking death" (the running portion of death is from the original film). But still this is one of the best and scariest Indonesian horror movies ever produced in my own country with international standards of scare scenes, annoying background music, unreachable plot twist, and murder bills inspiring blood splashes on some death scenes Not a bad movie by Quentin Tarantino Indonesia, Joko Anwar, who wrote and directed this film from start to finish. I hope there will be more high quality films coming out of Indonesia (though not necessarily horror, we've done a very good job with "The Raid" and "The Raid 2" despite the director's nationality).
Starting with mysterious mother's disease, 4 children and husbands make every effort to heal their mothers and wives. And, suddenly the mother died and was buried in an Islamic way. And Terror Begins ...
I think this is the best horror ever done in Indonesia. Well Cinematograph, well act, good scene portion of each character, well make up (Joko Anwar does not do CGI Good Green Screen), and Well Scoring. I love Joko's way of scaring us by using The Ghost of Mother to tell Toni something in his bedroom. IT WAS THE BEST SCAREJUMP
And Rini, as family leader since their father had to earn money into town (this family goes to the wells of the poor), had to fight to protect his brother from his mother.
Ian and Bondy are the most entertaining characters throughout the story. Their dialogue gets sympathy from the audience. Good game
After all, this is the best horror movie, with a twist ending and mind-blowing. BEWARE OF MOTHER TIME
