Day Care Owner In Custody For Harassing Children | Oneindia Malayalam

The alleged assault on a one-and-a-half-year-old boy by the caretaker at a daycare centre at Palarivattom has put the spotlight back on the issue of children’s safety at these centres and creches, which are having a free run. According to an officer with the Social Justice Department, at present, anyone can start a daycare or play school in their homes without licence.
