Facebook's 'alarming' moderation rules leaked

The Guardian leaked Facebook's modern rules, covering controversial topics including violence and hate speech. The social network allows videos of non-sexual child abuse, animal cruelty, and also self-harm. While these videos won't be removed, they will be marked as "disturbing." A UK-based child safety charity referred to guidelines as "alarming," and called for independent regulation of the moderation policies.
