Larry Bird is stepping down from his role as president of the Indiana Pacers, Bird served as the team's president between 2003-2012 and 2013-present. He also coached the Pacers from 1997-2000. Kevin Pritchard, the Pacers' general manager, will reportedly take over basketball operations for the team. Bird is expected to remain with the Pacers as a consultant.
