Billionaire Mark Cuban says he would give President Trump a C-minus for his first 100 days in office.
He made the comment during an interview on CNN Friday, adding, “There’s some things that he's tried to do. I give him credit for the Supreme Court and...delivering. I guess that’s a low bar when you do what you say you were going to do.”
Cuban then pointed out that Trump had, “No major policy changes at all. Signs a lot of executive orders that he doesn't truly understand.”
Nevertheless, he says, “...there’s still hope.” Cuban went on to call Trump becoming president a form of “political chemotherapy.”
He explained that one of his friends who voted for the businessman says he did so to shake up the country’s political system. Cuban remarked, “If that's the way you're evaluating Donald Trump, he's doing a phenomenal job.”
Cuban, who backed Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, has traded barbs with Trump in the past.
During the campaign, Cuban blasted the Republican nominee for not releasing his tax information, and in turn, Trump said on Fox Business that the Mavericks owner was “not smart enough” to understand his economic plan.
His comment came after Cuban predicted the stock market would crash if Trump succeeded in defeating Clinton.
Trump explained at the time that his policies were aimed at reducing the nation’s debt problem and keeping companies operating in the U.S. through reduced taxes and regulations.
