2018 Volkswagen Tiguan-Redesign,Specs,Release.Much like some other contemporary car manufacturers, Volvo is also preparing a renaissance of sorts. They are planning on introducing several new models, with the goal of conquering the entire car market by producing a wide range of vehicles. The 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan is going to play an important role in this market overtake. In the past, Tiguan wasn’t really intended for the US market. Not only did it lack space, but it was also a several features short. However, this time around, it seems that the US is the main target.
2018 Tiguan is going to become one entire size larger than the previous model. And not only that, it is also going to come with a terrain mode selector and an all-wheel drive in order to compete with all those utility vehicles currently available in the US. This terrain mode features includes different settings, with a lot of dedication to snow as a special condition.
There is going to be very little difference between the previous model and 2018 Tiguan in terms of exterior and interior design. The general appearance of the car will largely remain the same. It will retain the sporty and elegant image of its predecessor, with a similar exterior design. But it will grow drastically. And in order to support this growth, it is going to change the platform altogether. This is going to be the first utility vehicle on Volkswagen’s MQB underpinnings., a platform shared by all the Volkswagen’s future releases. The MQB platform is going to make the new vehicles much more rigid, with a noticeable improvement in fuel efficiency.
The extended wheelbase is going to be 3.5 inches longer, and the overall length will increase by another 5 inches.
