Fans Inside Stadium React as Borussia Dortmund-Monaco Game is Postponed After Explosion

Three explosions occurred near the team bus for soccer side Borussia Dortmund April 11 in Dortmund. Their defender Marc Bartra was injured in the incident and brought to hospital.Borussia Dortmund were due to play Monaco in a Champions League game, but it was postponed after the incident. Fans of both teams already inside Signal Iduna Park were informed via the PA system inside the stadium, as seen in this video. Fans were asked to stay inside the stadium for a period of time before they were allowed to leave.Here is a translation of the announcer’s statement: “The game will not take place tonight. It will be played tomorrow (April 12) at 18.45. Of course all tickets remain valid, but after this incident I can’t announce anything else. I still thank all of you for coming and I would be happy to welcome you here tomorrow again. Get home safe, thank you, and goodbye.”
