On Tuesday, Chelsea Clinton reflected on Russia's alleged meddling in the U.S. election during an interview with 'CBS This Morning.'

Chelsea Clinton has spoken out about the allegation that Russia played a role in swaying the 2016 presidential election against her mother, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
On 'CBS This Morning' Tuesday, Chelsea said about Russia’s activities during the campaign, “I think it’s clear there are lots of questions that have yet to be answered and I think Americans deserve an answer to those questions.”
When one of the hosts asked about the country’s role in her mother’s defeat, the former first daughter said, “I think we don’t yet know the answer to anything around Russia, and I think we all deserve those answers.”
In January, a declassified report by the U.S. intelligence officials noted, in part, "we assess Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the U.S. presidential election."
The report also pointed out that Russia's campaign was aimed at helping Donald Trump. It read, "Russia’s goals were to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency. We further assess Putin and the Russian Government developed a clear preference for President-elect Trump."
In her CBS interview, Chelsea was more firm when she was asked about possibly running for office herself, saying, “No, no, no, no.”
