Starbucks is now offering whiskey barrel-aged coffee

Starbucks announced its first whiskey barrel-aged coffee, a special Starbucks Reserve offering available exclusively at its Seattle Roastery. Starbucks will be selling bags of those coffee beans as well. Before you get excited, note that the roasting burns off the actual alcohol. According to the company’s press release, the 'bucks beans are “hand-scooped into freshly emptied American Oak-Aged Whiskey Barrels” from a local Washington distillery.
