Seattle Seahawks Pro Bowl defensive end, Michael Bennett, announced today that he is going to donate all of his endorsement money in 2017 to help minority communities. Bennett said that he was inspired by Chance the Rapper, who donated $1 million to help kids in Chicago schools. In addition to the endorsement money, Bennett is donating 50 percent of his jersey sale proceeds to support inner-city gardens. "I’m asking all professional athletes to join me by donating a portion of your endorsements this year to a cause of your choice," "We can make a difference. It’s up to us to help plant seeds of hope and help fuel the future."
