Back to the Past? 1930s Style Coupe Presented at Geneva Motor Show

As if rolling out off the screen of a 1930s gangster movie, this retro coupe all but stole the show at the Geneva International Motor Show on Tuesday. With a bulging back end, large circular headlights, and sweeping front fenders, this is the Eadon Green Black Cuillin coupe.

British automaker Eadon Green is fresh on the scene with its collection of retro-style boutique sports cars. The Black Cuillin is an elegant coupe that is inspired by the Alfa Romeo 8C 2900, a vehicle popular in the height of the 1930s. However, don't be fooled by the vintage exterior. The manufacturer claims that the 6.0 liter V12 engine can power the Black Cuillin to reach a top speed of 170 miles per hour. Further, the interior has all the modern amenities that we have come to expect from top of the line sports vehicles today.

In case you're wondering about the name, the Black Cuillin is actually named after a mountain range on the isle of Skye, located off the coast of Scottland.
