Badminton star PV Sindhu has accepted Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's government job as a deputy collector in Andhra Pradesh government. Currently, she is working in the central public sector oil company Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) as deputy manager . Sindhu's mother Vijaya confirmed that she had conveyed her willingness to take the offer. "We are expecting the appointment order", she said. The Andhra Pradesh (AP) and Telangana governments had honoured Sindhu when she won Silver at Rio Olympics last year. AP cabinet felicitated Sindhu with Rs 3 crore cash prize and Telangana government, which also extended her an equal grand reception, honoured her with Rs 5 crore cash prize.
