How to go to the Great Wall Badaling by public bus

The easiest and cheapest way to get to the Great Wall is to take the subway and bus.
The bus is a superior option than the train as it is faster, arrives closer to the Wall and departs closer to the city center.
We suggest that you get an early start to beat the crowds. The bus 877 departs from the Deshengmen bus station which is a short walk from the Jishuitan subway (line 2). The bus departs frequently based on this schedule:
- April 1 to November 15: 6h00 to 12h30
- November 16 to March 31: 6h30 to 12h30
For the return trip, the bus leaves the Wall as follows:
- April 1 to November 15: 10h30 to 17h00
- November 16 to March 31: 11h00 to 16h30

Price of entry tickets - high season (April 1 to October 31)
- Adult: 40RMB
- Senior (60 and over): 20RMB
- Student: 20RMB
- Child 6 to 18 years old: 20RMB
- Free for child 6 years and younger or less than 1.2 meters.
Price of entry tickets - low season (Nov. 1 to March 31)
- Adult: 35RMB
- Senior (60 and over): 17.5RMB
- Student: 17.5RMB
- Child 6 to 18 years old: 17.5RMB
