Liz Cheney tweeted that President Trump's recent comments about Putin are "deeply troubling and wrong."

The daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney has criticized President Trump's remarks about Putin during his recent interview with Bill O'Reilly on Fox Sports.
On Sunday, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) said in a tweet, "@POTUS statement suggesting moral equivalence between Putin's Russia and the United States of America is deeply troubling and wrong."
When O'Reilly asked Trump about his thoughts on Putin, he noted, "I do respect him...I respect a lot of people but that doesn't mean I'm going to get along with him...I say it's better to get along with Russia than not...Will I get along with him? I have no idea."
O'Reilly interjected, '...Putin is a killer."
Trump responded, "There are a lot of killers. We've got a lot of killers. What, you think our country is so innocent?"
Other Republicans have also commented that they don't share Trump's view.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) tweeted, "When has a Democratic political activists been poisoned by the GOP, or vice versa? We are not the same as #Putin."
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) told CNN, '“I’m not going to critique the president’s every utterance, but I do think America is exceptional. America is different. We don’t operate in any way the Russians do. I think there’s a clear distinction here that all Americans understand, and no, I would not have characterized it that way.”
