I treat my members as friends and I want them to enjoy betting on sport as much as I do. And they do. They are sensible enough to know that you win some and you lose some. But I make profit every year. I've had messages from members thanking me for helping them pay off a loan or pay for a holiday for a family of four (the latter came via a 40/1 winning tip at the Cheltenham Festival in 2012). It is a fascinating behind the scenes story of what goes on at a Premier League football club. Simon employed and sacked managers such as Steve Bruce and Iain Dowie - he even took the latter to court. Players wages, agents, big wins and sorry defeats, it's all this excellent book that was in the final six for the 2012 William Hill Sports Book of the Year award. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
