“Namie Amuro feat. The Monsters – Fighter Monsters (TeijiWTF Mashup)”

Hi there!

One of the best Namie Amuro fanpages, Namie Amuro Live, asked me for make this mashup, so I accepted this request.

This time I use the newest song by Namie Amuro, “Fighter”, with “Monsters”, by a Japanese boyband called “The Monsters”, composed by Tomohisa Yamashita (Yamapi) and Shingo Katori.

Namie has a song with Yamapi called “Unusual”, so if they ever watch this video or listen to this mashup, I think they would like it, hahaha

About the vocal track, I didn’t have to pitch any tone of The Monsters’s voices, because it fits perfectly. What I only did is stretching it to fit it to the Namie’s rhythm, et voila!

When Namie raps, I decided to use Monsters’s drop, and it killed it :P
I also repeated Namie’s “ah” at the same time of The Monsters’s “Dance” repetitions.

I changed the end of the song like 3 or 4 times until I thought it sounds perfect, and what I finally did is leaving the last part of instrumental version of Monsters and adding a delay effect to both vocals and instrumental tracks.
The last verse of Monsters ends slowing the words, but it doesn’t fit to this mashup, so I shortened their voice to a normal loop, and it sounds nice 

About the video, I made 3 scenes, edited by me.
I mixed Namie’s table with The Monsters’s one (Where Shingo appears) and I think it killed it, because it’s like Namie symbolizes the light, and The Monsters symbolize the dark, just like Ryuk (The Shinigami King, a demon character which appears in Death Note).
I also made Namie to appear in the three screens which appear in the wall of the Monsters’s room.
In the other two scenes, I made the door motion, and it seems like Namie and Shingo are in the same room.
I played with adjustments to make them more real, so I think it fits perfectly, so far.
