Strangers surprise ten-year-old girl with pet gerbil and she gets seriously emotional

Footage of a ten-year-old girl being surprised with a pet gerbil by complete strangers, after she thought she was only buying a cage off them.
The video, filmed in Missouri, USA, shows Lillian Maynor getting incredibly emotional in the back of her parents' car, while handling her new pet.
And there's an awesome story behind the gerbil too.
When she asked her parents for it, they thought it might be a good way to teach her responsibility, so they told her that if she could save up the money to buy the cage herself, she could have the pet.
Lillian took the challenge seriously and found a cage on Craigslist, calling the owner politely and negotiating the price down from $20 USD to $17 USD.
Then her parents took her to a public location to meet the owner of the cage and they were so impressed with her, they brought a gerbil to go along with the cage.
Although all this happened two years ago, it has only recently emerged online.
