by Anthony FalcoLove the smell of video games in the morning? You’re in luck. Francis Ford Coppola’s company American Zoetrope just announced a Kickstarter for an “Apocalypse Now” roll-playing game. It’ll be made with the help of industry veterans who worked on “The Witcher”, “Fallout: New Vegas”, and more. The game will emphasize survival horror, recreating the brutal atmosphere of the movie. The player will control the movie’s protagonist, Captain Benjamin Willard – originally portrayed by Martin Sheen. If crowdfunding is successful, the game is expected in 2019 for backers and 2020 for everyone else. Hopefully your reaction to the final product won’t be “The horror. The horror.”
