KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah on Sunday instructed to expedite work on ongoing development projects including the main University Road in Karachi.
The chief minister accompanied by Local Government minister Jam Khan Shoro visited several parts of the city without protocol and oversaw the pace of various developments projects
He expressed dismay over the slow pace of reconstruction at the Main Tariq Road and instructed contractors to expedite the pace of work at its earliest.
Murad also overviewed the development work on Main Shahrah-e-Faisal. He was informed that electricity poles hampered the expansion of the road. Murad said that he will speak to the K-Electric over the matter.
He instructed that the road construction from University Road to Safoora should be completed latest by July.
