Samsung may be postponing the Galaxy S smartphone launch following a probe into what caused the Note 7 devices to catch fire. The smartphone maker said faulty batteries were to blame for the product failure, which caused a loss of $5.3 billion. The company said that it recovered 96 percent of all Note 7s devices sold to consumers. Samsung mobile chief Koh Dong-jin noted that certain safety procedures have been put into place in preparation for the Galaxy S8 launch.
