New FROZEN Snowflake Song | New Science Learning Song + Video in Frozen Land

In our collaborative song and video with Kids Learning Tube, learn how snowflakes form and meet Ulyana, Alisas daughter!\r
\r
Ulyana loves to play outside on winter days in Frozen Land! After bundling up in her hat and coat, she runs outside and catches a snowflake. The snowflake sings her a song about how snowflakes form! Using magic, the snowflake flies through the air and shows Ulyana what happens when snowflakes form. When its finished with its song, Ulyana lets it go to rejoin her family; she plans to see him again, but hell melt and join the rest of the snow.\r
\r
A snowflake is a collection of water droplets frozen around small particles floating in the air (aerosols). No two snowflakes are alike - their formation is driven by humidity (how much water is in the air) and temperature levels. Since there are so many different configurations the particles can take in the beginning, its unlikely that any two snowflakes would be exactly the same.\r
\r
Once the initial configuration is set, the ice crystals branch out from each other, forming the pretty repeating patterns - called fractals - that we associate with snowflakes.\r
\r
Ulyana loves learning about snowflakes and other science topics. Did you enjoy the snowflake song? If you didnt catch all the words in the song, thats okay - we have the lyrics below.\r

Lyrics:\r
\r
What is a snowflake?\r
Water droplets frozen around aerosols what it takes!\r
I am a snowflake.\r
Humidity and temperature are why I take different shapes.\r
\r
Water vapor in the air\r
Rises to the atmosphere\r
Where it meets up with particles\r
They are called dust or aerosols\r
\r
Water vapor starts to cling\r
To these small microscopic things\r
Which then form water droplets,\r
And they are microscopic.\r
\r
And when the air heat gets to freezing,\r
Ice crystal forms out of these\r
Which is the birth of a snowflake,\r
Next Ill tell you how they take shape.\r
\r
What is a snowflake?\r
Water droplets frozen around aerosols what it takes!\r
I am a snowflake.\r
Humidity and temperature are why I take different shapes.\r
\r
When ice crystals start to grow\r
Vapor deposition makes snow,\r
Which means within subfreezing air\r
Ice forms from the water vapor there.\r
\r
This new formed ice starts to grow\r
On the ice crystal, now you know\r
In this freezing environment\r
The ice crystals form in abundance.\r
\r
When they reach a certain weight\r
They fall to Earth at such a rate!\r
Humidity and temperature\r
Form the shapes that do occur.\r
\r
Then the snowflake hits the ground.\r
They appear white, yes all around,\r
No two snowflakes are alike,\r
Each ones unique to our sight.\r
\r
Usually they have six sides\r
And cluster when they collide.\r
So next time you touch some snow\r
Think of what had made it grow.\r
\r
What is a snowflake?\r
Water droplets frozen around aerosols what it takes!\r
I am a snowflake.\r
Humidity and temperature are why I take different shapes.\r
\r
What is a snowflake?\r
Water droplets frozen around aerosols what it takes!\r
I am a snowflake.\r
Humidity and temperature are why I take different shapes.\r
