Carl Sagan on God and religion. This is an excerpt taken from his 1994 book Pale Blue Dot: A Vision of the Human Future in Space, narrated by Carl Sagan, wherein he offers a few highly cogent and eloquent thoughts on the nature of God and religion.

Carl Sagan (1934-1996) was an American astronomer, cosmologist, astrophysicist and science communicator and popularizer. He authored over a dozen books and was best known for Cosmos (1980) and Pale Blue Dot: A Vision of the Human Future in Space (1994).
