Thousands of delays at US airports amid customs system outage

A computer outage at US airports Monday evening left thousands of inbound international travelers stuck behind customs screening stations for hours on one of the busiest travel days of the year. U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents were forced to process travelers via a slower back up system when the computers went down.
