Russell Westbrook got ejected for arguing last night

Russell Westbrook is lighting up the NBA this season and is the early favorite for MVP but that doesn't mean he gets special treatment. Westbrook was ejected in the third quarter from the Thunder's game against the Grizzlies last night after arguing a foul call with the referees. After complaining about what he felt was an incorrect resetting of the shot clock, Westbrook got a technical foul for arguing and then almost immediately got a second technical foul, resulting in an ejection. Westbrook finished with 21 points, five rebounds, zero assists and six turnovers in 23 minutes. Despite his poor performance, he is still averaging a triple-double for the season. "I get so many techs just for talking. I can't even say nothing when I'm getting hammered every time I go to the damn basket throughout the games and previous games. Not tonight, but every night. I just don't get ref'd the same way as other people, and I don't appreciate it."
