'Son Of Sardaar' Was Never Supposed To Star Kajol

It had been reported recently that the leading female role in Son Of Sardaar was initially offered toKajol by the director Ashwni Dhir. It was said that Kajol had declined the film owing to her household commitments and had suggested Sonakshi Sinha's name instead. However, sources from the film claim that this is not true. A source from the unit has been quoted saying that Sonakshi was always the original and the only choice to play the part and that no other actress was approached to do the film. The source further reveals that Sonakshi had agreed to do the film immediately after hearing its story. Son Of Sardaar, starring Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla, has been directed by Ashwni Dhir and is set to release on November 13.
