'Mardaani' First Look | Rani Mukerji

Rani Mukerji is all set to mark her Bollywood comeback with Mardaani and the acting powerhouse has impressed us yet again with her acting prowess. Yash Raj Films unveiled the trailer of the film today and Rani, who plays a tough cop in it has done full justice to her role. The film's story revolves around Rani's character Shivani Shivaji Roy, an astute cop working in a Mumbai Crime Branch unit, who stumbles into the world of debauchery, cruel desires and exploitation and onto a case that changes her life forever. A teenage girl called Pyaari gets kidnapped by the child trafficking mafia and smuggled outside the city, Shivani then embarks on an obsessive hunt to find the missing girl and what follows is a cat and mouse game between a fearless cop and a ruthless mafia kingpin. Directed by Pradeep Sarkar, the film is slated to release on August 22, 2014.
