Woman finishes bowl in eight seconds in noodle eating competition

An impressive video has emerged from China of a Chinese woman defeating 50 foreigners in a noodle eating competition.
The video, filmed in Wuhan, Hubei Province on Saturday, shows the contest in which 50 international competitors from 17 different countries took part.
After the contest was won by Togolese student Emmanuel, 21, who finished his hot dry noodle bowl in 24 seconds, members of the audience were invited to join the game.
A 53-year-old local woman managed to beat Emmanuel's record by gulping the 400 grams of noodles in a mere eight seconds.
