Teen Pregnancy Instances Reducing

Teen pregnancy is decreasing! A study suggests that the reason is increased, and effective, use of contraceptives. According to federal data, from 2007 to 2013, births to teens age 15 to 19 dropped by 36 percent and pregnancies fell by 25 percent from 2007 to 2011. The same study also reported that the reason for this was not less sex or more abortions but improved use of contraceptives. No particular method was found to be better but the study found that teens were using contraceptives more often, combining methods, and using more effective methods, such as the birth control pill, IUDs and implants.
