2017 Porsche 911 RSR will debut at LA auto show

The much anticipated Porsche 911 RSR will debut at the Los Angeles auto show later today.
The RSR is Porsche's best race car based on production model, with it's most recent iteration being the 2013 model.
Visual changes and a switch from a rear engine layout to a mid-engine layout will bring the RSR closer to rivals like the Ford GT and the Ferrari 488.
RSR's first race will be in January at the 2017 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
